The Skin Specialist Code

The short version
You pay monthly for access to the consultation and planning tools. Your client records stay on your own device, never with us. Your access code is personal to you. The Code supports your professional judgement, it does not diagnose or replace your training.

Access is by monthly subscription, taken by Stripe. There are three plans:
Every plan includes full access from day one. After the minimum term, the plan carries on monthly until you cancel. There is no free trial.
You can cancel yourself at any time on the Manage my plan page using your access code. If you cancel during a minimum term, your plan stops at the end of that minimum term rather than straight away, and you are not charged after it. Outside a minimum term, your plan stops at the end of the month you have already paid for.
VAT is not currently charged. If that changes, the price shown at checkout will make it clear.
Your personal access code appears on screen after payment and is yours to keep. It opens the app on any device, so please keep it to yourself. It is a gate, not secure authentication, and it does not encrypt or protect anything you enter.
If your payment fails and stays unresolved, or a payment is reversed, we may end your access. We will contact you first where we can.
Consultation notes, client plans, your client list and backups are saved only in the browser on your own device. They are never sent to us, and we have no way to read or recover them.
You are the data controller for any client information you enter. You are responsible for having your clients' consent, keeping the device passcode protected, and storing or deleting anything you print or download securely. Please download a backup of your records regularly, because clearing your browser's data deletes them.
Your plan covers one therapist's own use. Please do not share your access code, resell access, or use the app to provide a plan-writing service to other practitioners.
The teaching, wording and structure of The Skin Specialist Code, including the ABC Method, belong to us. Please do not copy them into another product or course.
The Code supports your professional judgement, it does not replace your training, your insurance requirements or your legal obligations. You remain responsible for every recommendation you make to a client. The app does not diagnose, and no part of it is medical advice.
Work within your training, competence and insurance cover, and refer or seek medical advice where that is the right course.
The app is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We will work to keep it available, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable or that every device will behave the same way.
We may update the app and these terms as it grows. The current terms are always on this page, and a significant change will be flagged to plan holders by email.
